Mechanical Field Service Technician

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing hands-on technical support to customers by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our advanced corrugated machinery systems. This is a field-based position, requiring travel to customer sites throughout North America.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain corrugated machinery and equipment at customer locations.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective troubleshooting and problem-solving solutions.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and preventive services to ensure machinery performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure successful project completion.
• Provide technical support and training to customers on the proper operation and maintenance of BHS equipment.
• Document service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities in a detailed and timely manner.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while working on customer sites.

Qualifications:

• Technical degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance, or field service, preferably within industrial machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to travel extensively across North America (up to 80% travel).
• Valid driver’s license and passport required.
