Maintenance Site Manager

As part of our commitment to quality service, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Site Manager for BHS Corrugated to join our team.

Job Description: The Maintenance Site Manager for BHS Corrugated, serving as the primary liaison between our maintenance team and the client, plays a pivotal role in fostering and maintaining a positive working relationship. Reporting directly to the manager, this position involves overseeing the dedicated efforts of BHS employees stationed at the client's site to maintain corrugated equipment. A key focus of the role is to ensure seamless adherence to our contractual obligations while also prioritizing client satisfaction through the effective and efficient upkeep of the equipment by our maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

• Site Oversight:
  • Direct and guide BHS's efforts at the designated location, ensuring all operations align with company standards and objectives.
• Management of Site Supervisor:
  • Oversee the Site Supervisor, providing leadership and support to facilitate efficient site operations.
• Customer and Maintenance Team Relationship Leadership:
  • Foster and lead the relationship between the Maintenance Team and our clients. Encourage and mentor the team to proactively maintain and enhance the performance of the corrugator equipment.
• Active Engagement in Corrugator Output Enhancement:
  • Play a pivotal role in the continuous improvement of corrugator production. This includes analyzing production challenges and implementing both technical and procedural enhancements across customer and BHS responsibilities.
• Intensive Interaction with Customer Plant Management:
  • Engage regularly with the customer’s plant management. Responsibilities include:
    • Participating in daily production meetings to address downtime causes.
    • Leading weekly maintenance program discussions.
    • Supporting plant management in achieving their production targets.
• Cross-Functional Project Participation:
  • Actively engage in various cross-functional activities and projects as identified by BHS Management. This may encompass:
    • Involvement in continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Providing support to other maintenance locations as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous maintenance supervisory experience
• Customer service experience
• Excellent organizational skills and people skills
• Experience working with pneumatics, hydraulics, steam, PLC programming, and computer software.
• Ability to work in a high-stress environment
• Should possess the physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, perform bending and twisting motions, safely lift and maneuver objects weighing at least 30 pounds, navigate and walk over equipment, ascend and descend ladders and stairs, and work effectively in temperature ranges, including hot and cold environments, while on customer locations.
