About the Role
As the Material Handling Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, cultivating customer relationships, and delivering customized solutions that integrate with our cutting-edge corrugated manufacturing systems. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, attend industry events, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring our solutions meet their needs today and support their growth tomorrow.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute strategies to expand BHS Corrugated’s Material Handling presence in the U.S.
Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with corrugated manufacturing clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
Partner with engineering, project management, and service teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and technical presentations.
Negotiate contracts while ensuring compliance with company policies and profitability targets.
Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to shape business strategy.
Represent BHS Corrugated at trade shows, site visits, and industry events.
Maintain accurate sales activities and forecasts in CRM systems.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
5+ years of sales experience, ideally in corrugated manufacturing, material handling, or industrial automation.
Proven success in business development and closing high-value sales.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to explain complex systems.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel extensively (domestic and occasional international).
