BHS Corrugated North America is hiring an Industrial Electrical Service Technician in the Indianapolis area to support our advanced industrial digital printing equipment.
You'll provide hands-on electrical and controls support for our equipment located in Indianapolis, while also traveling to customer sites as needed for installations, troubleshooting, service, and preventative maintenance.
What You'll Do
Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and controls systems
Provide ongoing technical support for our Indianapolis-based equipment
Diagnose issues involving PLCs, drives, servos, and process controls
Read and troubleshoot from electrical schematics
Perform electrical calibrations and preventative maintenance
Assist with equipment installations and commissioning
Travel to other customer facilities as service needs arise
Work directly with customers to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
Document service work and technical findings
What We're Looking For
Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting experience
Experience with PLC controls and programming
Knowledge of VFDs/drives, servos, sensors, and process controls
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
Industrial maintenance, automation, controls, or field service experience
Technical/trade school or associate degree preferred
Strong problem-solving and customer communication skills
Ability and willingness to travel when needed
Digital print experience is NOT required.
