BHS Corrugated is seeking a People Analyst to join our growing team in our Charlotte, NC office!
This is a hybrid position with an in-office requirement of 3 days per week. Up to 10% travel may be required for training and team meetings.

Summary:

This role is responsible for analyzing complex data, creating impactful visualizations, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. The position will also manage HRIS implementations.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with Microsoft Excel, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP EC, ADP, and other HRIS platforms, along with Power BI and data visualization tools. Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, this role plays a key part in HR projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

HR Data Analytics:

  • Create and improve systems that automatically gather, organize, and present important business data in clear reports and dashboards. 
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., Macros, Power Query, VBA, pivot tables, advanced formulas) to manage and analyze complex datasets efficiently.
  • Present data- driven recommendations to HR leadership and business stakeholders to inform decision-making

HRIS Implementation & Optimization:

  • Lead the implementation of new HRIS systems, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams to customize systems and ensure seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide training to end-users to maximize adoption and usability.
  • Audit HR data to ensure master data quality and troubleshoot irregularities.
  • Research best practices and trends in HRIS and recommends process and service improvements
  • Develop user guides, FAQs, and other training materials to facilitate smooth system transitions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented programs, adjusting as needed.
  • Support managers in the People functions to evaluate and optimize processes.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, ensuring clear and concise information sharing.
  • Partner with managers to address inquiries and provide guidance on HR systems and processes.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to enhance the overall HR service delivery.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration or related field
  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel - MUST BE ABLE TO RUN MACROS AND DO COMPLEX FORMULAS
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience with HRIS platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work at a computer for up to eight (8) hours a day.
  • Ability to stand for at least forty-five (45) minutes at a time and lift ten (10) pounds at waist level.

Salary & Benefits:

The salary range offered for this position is $65k - $80k per year.
