Digital Print Electrical Technician

Position Overview: As an Electrical Field Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of digital printers at customer sites. While the training period involves minimal travel, the role will eventually require up to 100% travel within the US, Canada, and Mexico to provide exceptional support to our client base.
Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair digital printers at customer sites.
- Provide after-hours emergency support to our customer base.
- Perform preventative maintenance services and warranty interventions.
- Communicate effectively with customers to identify and resolve issues.
- Arrange travel to customer facilities independently.
- Generate comprehensive service reports for customers and internal use.
- Submit accurate timesheets and expense reports in a timely manner.
- Assist with installations and electrical calibrations as needed.
- Conduct electrical PEMs (Service audits) and interventions independently.
- Learn and adapt to proprietary software and equipment controls.
- Collaborate effectively with customers, subcontractors, and colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Technical/Trade school or AA degree preferred.
- Experience in maintenance of corrugating machinery is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time.
- Strong electrical aptitude with the ability to interpret schematics.
- Familiarity with PLC controls, programming, and process control.
- Ability to work well in physically demanding environments.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
