Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding on pipes using TIG, MIG, and Stick welding techniques
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
  • Cut, fit, and assemble metal components
  • Ensure welds meet industry and company standards for quality and safety
  • Work in coordination with pipefitters and other trades
  • Follow OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a pipe welder in commercial or industrial settings
  • Proficiency in various welding techniques (TIG, MIG, Stick)
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
  • Must be able to pass a welding test
  • Certification(s) a plus (AWS, ASME, etc.)
